Back To Toronto

After an amazing trip, I am headed back home!
Getting to go around the world and see places in North America, Europe and Oceania was absolutely amazing! I've seen so many cool things that I never thought I would have had the chance to see and learned so many new things as well. I couldn't have asked for a better trip, but it has now come to an end and I'm preparing myself for the long flight ahead! For a one way ticket back home it will cost $1,644. I will leave the Auckland Airport and fly 8 hours and 35 minutes to Honolulu and then have a layover for 4 hours and 45 minutes. From Honolulu, we will make another stop at the New York JFK Airport for 3 hours and 45 minutes after we just flew 9 hours and 40 minutes from Honolulu. Lastly, switching airlines to Air Canada I will have 1 hour and 42 minutes left to fly back on to home turf. Despite the fact that it's going to be a long, rough, tiring route to take back home it will be completley worth it because I just finished my trip of a lifetime!

New Zealand

My final stop on this amazing journey I've been on will be New Zealand! I will be flying with Air New Zealand for 3 hours which will cost be a total of $309. New Zealand, along with Fiji is very popular for its stunning scenary and landscape. Also, New Zealand is a popular location for big time movies to be shot, such as Lord of the Rings. I will only be staying in New Zealand for 1 day and 1 night as I could only find a flight all the way back home to Toronto directly after. For my final sleep on this trip, I will be at the Auckland Harbour Oaks Hotel which will cost $32

During my first day, I will be going to the Abel Tasman National Park, which will provide me with incredibl breathtaking views! This small park consists of forest hills but it surrounded by beautiful waters. To get to relax here and take pictures to bring home will be unreal.

Fiji

After Sydney, I will be getting to visit my second last place which has been a place to travel to on my bucket list for a long time! I'll be spending two days and one night in the breathtaking country of Fiji!
Fiji is an island in the South Pacific Ocean with an abundance of forest, mineral and fish resources. Fiji is a leader in eco-tourism and is famous for it's coral diving, white sand beaches and beautiful natural environment.
From Sydney to Fiji I will have to take a small place instead of using a top airline. My flght will cost around $328 and I will be covering 1998 miles.
I will be staying in the Novotel Suva Lami Bay Hotel for $83.

My first day in Fiji will consist of going to visit the Mamanuca Islands! These islands offer crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches and live coral reefs. I will be snorkeling and swimming to explore what kinds of animals and other forms of life we have in this part of the world. Due to Fiji being an absolutely amazing natural place, I wanted to go visit the Naivua River during my fat t which runs for 65km.

The Famous Sydney, Australia

I have already been travelling for quite some time now and have managed to see so many incredible things and experience cool adventures. I've been through the continents of North America and Europe, in which I already visited six places! My trip will end off in the final countries of Ocenia.
For me, it is an absolute must that I go to Australia, so despite the fact that I will be on the place for an extremley long time, I am still going to do it. From the Rome Leonardo da Vinci- Fiumicino airport (FCO) I will take a 25hour, 30 minute flight with Alitalia Airlines and land in the Syndey Kingsford Smith airport (SYD). The flight will cost $1,207 and I will be travelling 10, 136 miles.
I will be staying in Sydney for only 2 days and 1 night as I need to wrap up my trip quickly in the last place of Ocenaia. For my short stay I will be sleeping at the Harbour Rocks Hotel Sydney for $238 where I will have a view of Sydney's famous harbour. Sydney is the capital state of New South Wales and happens to be the most populous city in Australia. People that live there are called Sydneysiders and in 2010 there was about 4.8 million people! Sydney is known for it's spectacular harbour and it's famous landmark, The Opera House.

During my first day in Sydney, although I'll be tired from my long flight, I can't hesitate to get out and explore because my trip will be coming to an end very shortly. I will go to the Sydney Opera House which is a performing arts centre. There are over 1,500 performances every year that fall into the categories of music, art, theatre, dance, etc. It is one of the most popular visitor attractions in Australia and I plan on getting a guided tour to really explain the history and see what all the buzz is about worldwide. After the Opera House, I will walk the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is 440 feet high, 160 feet wide and connects Sydney's central business district and the North Shore.

During my second day in Sydney, I will have a nice relaxing day. I will visit the well known Bondi Beach! It is great for swimming and even surfing which I definitely plan on trying. The beach is 1 kilometre long and if I'm lucky, I can even spot whales, dolphins, sharks or penguins!

Rome

After my short, yet amazing time in Barcelona, I will be travelling to the incredible city of Rome, Italy! I decided that after flying around from place to place so much, that I would treat myself to a short 20 hour Meditteranean cruise from Barcelona to Rome. For a one way ticket with a single bed cabin, it will cost €70. I will be staying in Rome for 2 nights and 3 days at the Hotel Metropolis for a total cost of $378.
Rome is the capital of Italy with around 3.5 people living in the metropolitan area. Rome is one of the oldest occupied cities in Europe and has so many things to offer that make it a huge tourist destination all year round.

During my first day, it is an absolute must that I go to The Colosseum. This historic monument brings in countless visitors every year to admire its beuaty and the history behind it. Learning and being in the place of past gladiators, slaves, prisoners and animals will be quite the experience. I will also go for a walk through the famous Gardens of the Villa Borghese. This central public park has a very peaceful feel to it as you get to see natures beauty.

During my second day, I will go to Vatican City and see St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums. St. Peter's Basilica is an old church but also the largest church in the world. The Pope does a number of services every year at this church to crowds of up 80,000 people sometimes. The Vatican Museums displays tons of collections that contain famous works. With some of the most well known sculptures and masterpieces from around the world, there is tons to admire.

On my last day in Rome, I will go see one of the most famous fountains in the world, the Trevi Fountain. It is a very popular tourist attraction and has made an appearance in many films. There is a legend that says your wish will come true if you use your right hand to throw a coin over your left shoulder. The fountain is 86 feet high and 161 feet wide and an estimated 3000 Euros are thrown into the fountain every day.
